1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy applies to the SideScore mobile application (the “App”), developed and published by Muhammad. Your privacy is important. This policy explains what information the App does and does not collect, and how any data is handled.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

SideScore is designed as a fully offline application. We do not collect, store, or transmit any of the following:

• Personal identification information (name, email, phone number, etc.)
• Account credentials or login data
• Location data
• Device identifiers or advertising IDs
• Usage analytics or behavioral data
• Crash logs or diagnostic information

3. Data Stored Locally on Your Device

All match-related data created within the App — including team names, scores, set results, match history, and timer records — is stored exclusively on your device using a local database (Hive). This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us or any third party.

You may delete this data at any time by clearing the match history within the App, or by uninstalling the App, which removes all locally stored data permanently.

4. Third-Party Services

SideScore uses Firebase Core, a library provided by Google LLC, solely for basic platform initialization purposes. The App does not enable Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, Performance Monitoring, or any other Firebase service that collects or reports data.

By default, Firebase Core may collect minimal, anonymized data such as installation UUIDs and basic configuration tokens necessary for the proper functioning of the Firebase platform. This data is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy.

No other third-party SDKs, analytics tools, or advertising networks are integrated into the App.

5. Internet Access

SideScore does not require internet access for its core functionality — scoring, match management, history, and all other features work completely offline. Internet access may only be used incidentally during the initial Firebase initialization step. The App does not make any network requests to transmit user data.

6. Children’s Privacy

The App does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. It is safe for use by all age groups as no user data is collected or shared.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected with an updated “Last updated” date at the top of this page. You are encouraged to review this policy periodically.
